LAKE ODESSA- Mrs. Mary A. Hatch, 94, of Lake Odessa died Sunday afternoon at 
Pennock Hospital in Hastings.

She was born November 3, 1888, the daughter of Perry and Harriet Bessemer Mason 
in Montgomery. She attended Montgomery schools and married George Hatch on May 
31, 1908.

He preceded her in death on October 5, 1967.

She lived in the Jackson area for most of her life, moving to Lake Odessa in 
1967.

She was a member of the Home City Rebecca Lodge No. 228 of Jackson, the Central 
United Methodist Church in Lake Odessa, and the Friendship Club.

Surviving are one son, James of Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.;; one daughter; 
Mrs. Marie Pickens of Lake Odessa; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 
five great-grandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. from the Pickens-Koops 
Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa with the Rev. Stephen Keller officiating.

Burial will be in the Horton Cemetery in Horton, Mich. at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

A memorial has been established for the Lake Odessa st. Church or the Lake 
Odessa Ambulance service.

The family will meet with friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. or 7 to 9 p.m.
