Mr. Hatch was born August 29, 1860, son of Addison and Helen White-Hatch, residents of South Boston and he lived on this same farm until about 38 years ago when he retired and moved to Saranac. He was a direct descendant of Timothy White, one of the earlier pioneers in this section. April 17, 1889 Mr. Hatch was married to Minnia Wedge also a resident of South Boston. Surviving besides his widow, Minnia, are three children, Carl of Pontiac, Mrs. Jessie Cahoon, South Boston, Mrs. Bessie King of Detroit and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held from Morris Funeral Home in Saranac the Rev. Glenn McCarty officiating and burial was made in South Boston cemetery, Sunday afternoon.
