Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 12 Apr 1957

Mrs. Minnia Hatch, 88, died Thursday afternoon at the Nell Wyntzes rest home
near Lowell.  Born November 6, 1868 in Ionia county, Mrs. Hatch was a daughter
of Alfred and Hannah (Culp) Wedge and married James Hatch, April 17, 1899 in
South Boston. They observed their 51st wedding anniversary in 1950 and Mr. Hatch
died August 10, 1950.  She was a member of the Saranac Community church.

Surviving are three children, Carl Hatch of Pontiac, Mrs. Jessie Cahoon of South
Boston, Mrs. Bessie King of Detroit, four grandchildren, six
great-grandchildren, one step-sister, Mrs. Margaret Danford of Ionia, several
cousins in Canada and a niece in California.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30 at the Morris
funeral home with the Rev. Glenn McCarty officiating.  Interment will be South
Boston cemetery.
