Ionia Sentinel Standard, 9 Aug 1975

Laura E. Hatfield, 76, of 534 Cronk street, died Friday at Grand Rapids.  Born
October 13, 1898, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Foster of Proctor,
Kentucky.  Her husband, Edward, died in 1967.

Mrs. Hatfield is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Frank Nelson and Mrs. Robert
Bodman of Ionia, Mrs. Walter Johnston of Saranac, and Mrs. Eugene Byrne of
Belding; along with two sons, Carl of Grand Rapids and Lester of Marne.  Also
surviving are 38 grandchildren.

Services will be Monday at 1 pm, at the Hoffman funeral home, Belding, followed
by burial in Green cemetery.  Rev. Luther Brokaw will officiate.  The family
will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 8:30 pm.
