Mr. Hatfield was an employee of Gibson Refrigerator Company for five years. He served in the U.S. Army and was a well-known country and western musician. Surviving are his wife, Rosetta; four daughters, Terry, Kim, Tammy and Lorri; four sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Rosie) Byrne, Mrs. Walter (Betty) Johnston of Saranac, Mrs. Frank (Elsie) Nelson and Mrs. Robert (Edna) Bodman of Ionia; three brothers, Carl and Lester of Marne and Cleo of Belding. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. from Fitzjohn-Courser Funeral Home. Rev. Wilford D. Wood will officiate. Interment will be at Green cemetery, Ionia county.
