The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, January 26, 1988

Charlotte M. Hathaway, 68, of 610 W. Mary Street, Belding, died Monday at her 
residence.  Born in Belding April 6, 1919, she was the daughter of Everette 
and Edith Hubbard Luno.  She was employed at Gibson’s, Greenville, as an 
inspector for 15 years before retiring in 1981.

She was married to Evan Hathaway June 19, 1936, in Lansing; he survives.  Also 
surviving are two daughters, Mr. Jack (Evonne) Johnson of Lansing and Mrs. 
Donald (Connie) Skinner of Portland; and five grandchildren.  She was preceded 
in death by a daughter, Delores Ann, in infancy.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. from the Johnson Funeral Home, 
Belding, with the Rev. Kenneth Harger of Shiloh Community Church officiating.  
Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.  The family will be at the 
funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 9 p.m.  
Memorials have been established for the Belding Public Library and the 
American Diabetes Association, in care of the funeral home.
