Mrs. Lois May (Claude E.) Hathaway, 83, of 331 Rich street died at Ionia County 
Memorial hospital Thursday evening following a short illness.

Lois Harvey, born August 28, 1883 in St. Albans, Vermont, was the daughter of 
Charles H. and Flora Downing Harvey.

She attended public schools in Vermont and on June 5, 1907 married Claude E. 
Hathaway in Ionia. Since their marriage she has lived in Ionia and was a member 
of the First Presbyterian church.

Mrs. Hathaway is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Jean H. Marston of Ann Arbor. 

Funeral services will be at Myers funeral home Monday, at 1:30 p.m. Burial will 
be in Highland Park cemetery, and Rev. McComb of First Presbyterian church will 
officiate.
