        Excerpts from Greenville Obituary

                ERNEST J. HATINGER 

Died Tuesday July 18, 1989-age 76 at Grand Rapids Hospital.
Born October 4, 1912 in Edmore, son of Earl & Essie Hatinger.
Retired from Hitachi Magnetics Corp of Edmore where he worked for three years, 
preceded by 20 years at General Electric in Edmore. 
Survived by his wife, Mary B.,whom he married Nov.17, 1984.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Elvena in 1982, brother Robert & sister 
Naomi Bartel.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs.LeRoy (Joyce) Michaelis, Lincoln,Neb.,a son 
Roger E. Hatinger; a sister, Mrs.Pauline Fink, Hastings; two brothers, Gerald 
Hatinger, Edmore, George Hatinger, Vestaburg; two grandchildren, Mark & Julianna 
Michaelis.Plus Stuart & Kathy Jensen, Edmore.
Funeral services at 11 a.m Saturday at First United Methodist church, Edmore.
Rev. Joseph Graybill officiating.
Interment at Vinewood Cemetery, Edmore.
Visitation Friday from 2 to 4 & 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Stebbins-McCullough Funeral 
Chapel,Edmore.
Memorial contributions may be made to Faith United Methodist Church.
