Clarabelle May Hatt, 80, of Ionia, passed away June 17, 2014 in Lansing.  She 
was born May 8, 1934 in Bloomer Twp., MI the daughter of James and Margaret 
(Horner) Bennett.  Clarabelle married Herbert Hatt on October 25, 1954 in 
Ionia.  He passed away in 1993.  She was a member of the Shiloh Community 
Church. 

Clarabelle is survived by her son, Ed (Vicki) Hatt of Fenwick; brothers, George 
(Wanda) Bennett of Ionia, Walt (Barb) Bennett of Ionia, and Bob (Pat) Bennett 
of Ionia; grandchildren, Brandon Hatt of Grand Rapids, Stacy (Eric) Labadie of 
Ionia, Tiffany (Josh) Miller of Ionia, and Chelsi Hatt of Portland; great-
grandchildren, Taylor, Karis, Brynn, Logan, Braydon, and Ashton.  She was 
preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert Hatt; daughter, Brenda Hatt; 
brothers, Chuck Bennett and Jim Bennett. 

Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 21 at Shiloh Community 
Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior 
to services.  Interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.  Memorial Donations may be 
made to the Shiloh Community Church.  Arrangements by Lake Funeral Home in 
Ionia.
