She was Pewamo's oldest resident. She was born April 09,1892 in Riley Township, Clinton County, and was the daughter of William Orson and Cora Fritz Parks. She was married to John Hattis in July of 1911. He died in May of 1949. She lived in Pewamo for the past 46 years. She is survived by one son, Lloyd of Walled Lake; three daughters, Berdaline Armistead of Pontiac, Mrs. Katherine Williams of Pewamo, Mrs. Bertalou Lumbert of Pewamo; 25 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. he was preceded in death by four sons, one daughter, eight brothers and one sister. Services will be held Monday at 2 p.m.from Hall Memorial Chapel in Muir, with the Rev. Scott Otis of the Lyons-Muir church officiating. Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral chapel after 2 p.m. Saturday.
