Hattis, Sr., of 312 State Street, Pewamo, will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Pewamo United Methodist church.Burial will be in East Plains Cemetery. The body will be at Hull Memorial Chapel in Muir until noon Wednesday. Mr.Harris was found deat in his front yard at 8:15 Monday morning by neighbors. Death was attributed to a heart attack about 5:30 Sunday afternoon by Coroner Richard Hull. He was born in Pewamo September 30, 1903, the son of Joseph and Eva Hattis. He graduated from Pewamo High School and in July 1924 married Margaret Williams.She died in December of 1957. He retired from Grand Trunk Railroad following 42 years of employment. Surviving are two sons,Harry,Jr., of Portland and Reece Hattis of Westphalia; one sister, Mrs.Dorothy Parks of Pewamo, and six grandchildren.
