She had lived in Pewamo previous to the time of her marriage. In September 1931 she was united in marriage to Raymond Hattis. At the time of her death she was living at Wixon. Surviving are the husband, Raymond, two sons, Lyle and Larry, her mother, Mrs. Susan Davis of Pewamo and a sister, Mrs. Goldie Ritenburg of Muir. A brother, Murel preceded her in death by five weeks. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o’clock at the home of Mrs. Davis in Pewamo. Interment in the East Plains cemetery. The following from out of town attended the funeral: Mr. and Mrs. John Hattis and family of Pontiac, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hattis of Walled Lake; Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Parks of Milford; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Davis, Mrs. Chas. Davis, Morrice Wiseman, and Mr. and Mrs. Clare Davis all of Ithaca; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Smith and Mrs. Chas. Smith of New Haven; Mr. and Mrs. Beecher and Mrs. Ethel Ward of Wheeler; Mrs. Murel Davis and Ruth Sessions of Ionia; Oliver Rittenburgh of Nickel Plate; David Davis of Sumner; Messers Chas. and Dan Reinsmith of Hubbardston.
