CHARLES HATTON DIES AT HOME IN WOODLAND
                      --------------------
ONE OF THE PIONEER RESIDENTS OF THIS VICINITY.  STROKE OF PARALYSIS SATURDAY FATAL
                      --------------------
Charles Hatton,, one of the pioneer residents of this vicinity, died at his home in
Woodland early Tuesday 
afternoon.   He suffered a stroke of paralysis Saturday morning, and never became
conscious afterward.
   For some time he has been troubled with his heart and was forbidden to drive his
car alone we are told.
   He was a man in the seventies and lived near Lake Odessa for many years.  He has
been closely allied with 
many Lake Odessa people for many years.
