Ionia Sentinel - 10 March 1967
Mrs. Lula M. Hauer, 86, lifelong resident of Woodland, died Thursday at the 
home of her son, Kenneth Hauer of Wyandotte, where she had been for the last 
six months.  Mrs. Hauer was born July 4, 1880 in Woodland, the daughter of 
George Fuller and Harriet Crossbrook Fuller.  In 1902 she was married to 
William Hauer, who preceded her in death in 1956.

She was a member of Woodland Methodist Church, the WSCS of the church, Women’s 
Christian Temperance union and the Golden Age circle.  Surviving beside her 
son are two grandchildren and one great grandchild.  Funeral services will be 
Saturday at 1:30 pm at Pickens funeral chapel in Lake Odessa with Rev. Richard 
VandenBosch officiating.  Burial will be in Woodland Memorial Cemetery.
