Theodore C. “Ted” Hausman, aged 95, Belding, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2000 at
United Memorial Health Center Long Term Care Unit.  He was born Sept. 29, 1904
in Otisco Township, the son of Frederick and Catherine Schultz Hausman.  He was
a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus Council 944 of
Ionia.  Ted was a lifelong farmer and the oldest living member of his parish
family.  

He is survived by many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his
parents; five sisters, Clara Metternick, Edith Hausman, Anna Krupp, Mary Patin,
Lena Kloster; and two brothers, Frederick and Albert Hausman.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be 3 p.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with
Father Troy A. Nevins officiating.  (Please meet at the church.)  Interment will
be in St. Mary Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today with a
scripture service at 8 p.m. at the Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, Belding. 
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary Church Window Fund or St.
Joseph Second Century Fund.
