Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Jun 1974

A lifelong Berlin township farmer, Paul H. Hausserman, 79, died unexpectedly
Friday evening in Ionia County Memorial hospital where he became a patient the
day before.  Born April 15, 1895, in Berlin township he was a son of Herman and
Mary Hausserman and attended Coon school in his earlier days.

On Feb. 9, 1921, he married the former Frieda Scheurer and the couple made their
home on a farm on West Grand River, celebrating their Golden Wedding anniversary
in 1971.

Surviving is his wife, and one daughter, Mrs. Marguerite Dick of Lake Odessa,
three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Dora
Redemski of Ionia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. June 18, from LeValley Methodist church on
Kelsey highway, the Rev. Lloyd Walker officiating.  A memorial fund has been
established for LeValley church and the family will be at Leddick funeral home
Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. to receive friends and
relatives.  Burial is in Balcom cemetery on West Tuttle road.
