Lake Odessa Wave - November 29, 1973
          C.A. HAUSSERMAN DIES AT HOSPITAL
   Clarence A. Hausserman, 74, passed away unexpectedly last Tuesday afternoon at
Blodgett Hospital, Grand 
Rapids, where he was hospitalized for 24 hours.
   He was born in Odessa township March 3, 1899, the son of John and Sarah (Koutz)
Hausserman and was a 
lifelong resident of the local area.
   December 10, 1932, he married Mildred Chupp and they resided on a farm on
Henderson Rd., northeast of 
Lake Odessa, moving to the village in 1946.
   Mr. Hausserman, after moving to Lake Odessa, was employed full-time by the
village for 25 years and was a 
part-time employee at the time of his death.
   Surviving are a son Donald of Allegan and three grandchildren.  His wife passed
away October 30, 1953.
   Funeral services were held on Friday, November 23 at Pickens-Koops Funeral
Chapel.  Rev. Marvin 
Zimmerman officiated with burial in Lakeside cemetery,, Lake Odessa.
