The Ionia Standard, Friday, November 3, 1916
Frieta Hausserman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman C. Hausserman of Berlin 
township, died Monday at 8:00 o’clock after a month’s illness with typhoid 
fever.  The funeral was held at the residence at 1:30 Wednesday afternoon and 
at 2:00 o’clock at the Wesleyan church.  Miss Hausserman graduated from the 
Ionia High School in 1915 and was teaching school at the time when she fell 
sick.  She was a student at the Mount Pleasant Normal last summer.
