                                 HAROLD D. HAUTER

SARANAC-Harold D. Hauter, 65, of 4091 Jackson Road, Saranac, died Wednesday at 
Ionia Count Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Saranac on September 2 1923, the son of Daniel and Wilma Branson 
Hauter. He was a Veteran of World War II and a member of the Sheridan VFW Post, 
the Saranac American Legion and the Cooties.

Hauter married Frances Chadwick, who survives him, on March 19, 1946, in 
Saranac.

Also surviving Hauter is his mother Wilma; one son, Craig Hauter of Grand haven; 
one brother, Dale Hauter of Saranac; and two sisters, Mrs.Robert (Jean) Sprague 
of Saranac and Mrs.Kenneth (Joyce) Heilman of Ionia. Also surviving him are the 
three grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. 
at the Saranac Community Church, with the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Respiratory Unit of Ionia County Memorial Hospital.
