Belding Banner-News, 19 Aug 1965

Lawrence E. Havens, age 64, who resided at 222 Vincent St., died Sunday in the
Belding Hospital.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy.   Born in Clinton County
November 20, 1900, he has lived in Belding for the past 27 years.

Besides his wife, Mr. Havens leaves two daughters, Mrs. Jack (Shirley) Robinson
of Belding; Mrs. Don (Maxine) Stevens of Trufant; a son David of Belding; a
stepson, Duane Clinger of Greenville; a brother, George of Lansing; and 13
grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday from the Huffman Funeral Home with the Rev.
Robert Lilly of Belding Baptist Church officiating.  Burial was in River Ridge
Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Carl Harris, Angus Huey, Stanley Robinson, Robert
Jewell, Willis Brooks and George Huey.
