Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Jul 1929

Benjamin F. Havens, born 73 years ago in Orange township, died at the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Holcomb, east of Ionia, Thursday evening just before midnight.
 The funeral services will be held from the home of Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb
Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, and the interment will be in the Highland Park
cemetery.  Mr. Havens had lived all of his life in Ionia county, and for 28
years had made his home with Mr. and Mrs. Holcomb.  He leaves two daughters,
Mrs. Alice Schlosser of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Lucy Duns-[unreadable],
[unreadable], Mo., and a brother, [unreadable].
