HAVILAND, WILLIAM A.:
   BANNER NEWS, Belding, MI, 2-11-1937:  "Well Known Resident Died - Funeral
services will be held this afternoon at 2:30 from the Fales Funeral chapel for
William Haviland, age 62, who died Monday evening, at 5:30 at his home on
Division St.  Mr. Haviland had returned to his home here six weeks ago following
treatment at the University hospital in Ann Arbor.  He was born in Lakeview and
has been a resident of this city for the past 25 or 30 years, having been
employed as shipping clerk in the Richardson Mills for about 20 years. 
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Alta Haviland, two children, Joe and Leola. 
Burial will be made in River Ridge cemetery.  Services will be under the
auspices of the Masonic lodge and the officiating minister will be Rev. H. S.
Ellis with Rev. Glen Weimer, Congregational minister, leading in prayer."
