Ionia Sentinel Standard, 14 Nov 2009

Gloria Joan Hawkins, of Ionia, age 80, loving mother and grandmother, passed
away on Friday, Nov. 6, 2009.  She was born on May 13, 1929 in Flint, the
daughter of Hubert and Erma (Cameron) Plant.  Mrs. Hawkins was a member of SS
Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  She was a secretary and housekeeper at St.
Anthony Catholic Church in Saranac for many years.

Surviving are her children, Stephen Hawkins of Benzonia, Mich., Donna Davis of
Mishawaka, Ind.  And David (Krinn) Hawkins of Saranac; grandchild, Jamie Ernest
and close friends, Tom and Cristi Hausserman and family of Ionia.  She was
preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Kristin Hawkins; very special
friend Rev. Fr. Harold Feltman and brothers, Hubert Plant, Jr., Lyle Plant, and
Douglas Plant.

Graveside Services were held at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Ionia.
