Lyons Herald, 23 Aug 1917

Our people were surprised the past week to hear of the death of Thos. U. Hawley 
in Detroit, following an operation for gall stones.  Mr. Hawley was formerly in 
the mercantile business in Lyons.  He is survived by a wife and three children.
