Hawley, about 70, died Tuesday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Ranger, of Ithaca. She had been in ill health for the past year and seriously ill for the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Hawley lived in Lyons for a great many years where Thomas Hawley and Arthur Bradt were partners in a funeral home and furniture store business in Lyons. Later the couple moved to Detroit where Mr. Hawley preceded his wife in death several years ago. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Vera) Ranger of Ithaca and Mrs. Alex (Hazel) McKenzie of Royal Oak; one son, Harry Hawley, of Detroit, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ranger, in Ithaca Thursday morning, December 24, at 10 o’clock. Burial will be in Royal Oak.
