The Ionia Standard, Friday, November 12, 1897

Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Hawley, of Charlotte died, he on Saturday night, and she 
Tuesday a.m.  They were between 70 and 80 years old.  Remains were taken to 
Saranac, where funeral took place on Wednesday.  They were relatives of R. A. 
Hawley and Clark Hawley, of this city.
