Ionia Sentinel, 3 Jun 1881

Died. – At her residence in Ronald, at 11 o’clock Friday morning, June 3, after
a lingering illness, Mrs. Delia Hawley, wife of Alpheus Hawley, in the
sixty-first year of her age.  A beloved and useful member of the community has
gone, but “the Lord giveth his beloved sleep.”

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in North Plains Cemetery.]
