Ionia Sentinel Standard, 15 Oct 1979

Funeral services were conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Leddick Funeral Home
for Richard R. Hawley Sr.  The Rev. Carl Hausermann officiated.  Organist was
Mrs. Josephine Barna.  Burial was in River Ridge Cemetery in Belding.

Honorary pallbearers were Ned Lambertson and Clarence Johnson.  Active
pallbearers were Dick Hadder, Earl Graham, Ted Edlin and grandsons Curtis, David
and Scott Hawley.  Following graveside services a luncheon was prepared and
served by the ladies of the First United Methodist Church.  The meal was served
in the church dining room.
