The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, December 14, 1950
Services for Mrs. B. M. Hawley, 87, who died at the Ionia County Memorial 
hospital Monday morning, were conducted at Boynton’s funeral home Wednesday, 
Dec. 13, at 2 p.m.  Mrs. C. A. Hood of Mt. Pleasant read the Christmas Science 
services.  Bearers were Clayton Harwood, Dan Allen, Allan Williams and Hiram 
Darling.  Interment was in the family lot, Oak Hill cemetery.  Out-of-town 
persons at the services were Mr. and Mrs. I. M. Strachan and daughter of 
Rockford and Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Hood of Mt. Pleasant.
