Having reached the advanced age of 83 years and having lived at least half of her life in this vicinity, she was widely known, and a lady held in high esteem. Her interest was in her home, where the most of her time was spent, carrying her share of the load which comes to all farmers’ wives. Those from here to attend the funeral were her brother, Hiram Minier and his daughter, Mrs. Charles Swane, of Grand Rapids, another brother, J. G. Minier and daughter Rena, of Lake Odessa, Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Sly and two children, of Kalamazoo, Mrs. Jennie McCue, Mrs. Mary Parmenter, of Greenville, Whit Minier and wife, Henry Comstock and daughter Cecil and Mrs. Hettie Smith, of Belding.
