Ionia Sentinel-Standard - Monday, Aug. 24, 1964

Mrs. Sarah Mae Hawn, 80 of 320 West Lincoln avenue, lifelong resident of 
Ionia died at 7:10 Sunday evening shortly after being admitted at Ionia 
County Memorial hospital.

She was born January 7, 1884, the daughter of Ernest Radsack and Fredericka 
Klager Radsack and was married in Ionia to Wilburt Hawn who died in 1929.

Mrs. Hawn was a member of St. Johns Lutheran church, Ladies Aid and Mission 
and Charity circle of the church.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Crystal Stencel of route three; two 
sons, Howard Hawn of Lansing, and Victor of Long lake.

The body will be at Stone-Kauffman funeral home until 1 o'clock Wednesday 
when it will be taken to St. Johns Lutheran church for funeral services at 2 
p.m. The Rev. Marvin Hueller will officiate and interment will be at 
Highland Park cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday 
evenings. Contributions will be accepted as a memorial for the building fund 
at the church.
