The Portland Observer, Thursday, November 16, 1922

Thomas Hayden of North Plains, well known and highly esteemed resident of that 
vicinity, died at the home of his two brothers, John and Patrick Hayden, west 
of Hubbardston, Monday night.  The cause of his death is given as blood 
poisoning.
