Sandra Lee (Lake) Hayden, 75, of Saranac, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2015,
in Greenville.  She was born March 7, 1940, in Muskegon, the daughter of Angus
and Leona (Syer) Lake.  Sandy married Joe Hayden on Oct. 26, 1963, in Ionia. 
She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and Eagles Club of Greenville.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 51 years, Joe Hayden of Saranac; children,
Tammy Schliesser of Ohio, Mel Hayden of Lowell, Kim (Jim) Vandenberg of
California, Monty Jo (Rob) Simpson of Saranac, and John (Laura) Hayden of
Saranac; brothers, Monte Lake of Orleans, Larry Lake of Orleans, and Rick Lake
of Alma; sister, Sharon Headworth of Ohio; nine grandchildren and 14
great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and
three sisters.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Anthony’s Catholic
Church, Saranac, with Monsignor Ed. Hankiewicz presiding.  Visitation will be
from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Lake Funeral Home in Saranac with a rosary scheduled
at 8 p.m.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions in Sandy’s name to St.
Anthony’s Catholic Church.
