Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 8 Sep 1961

Mrs. Cynthia M. Hayes, 73, died Thursday in Butterworth hospital, Grand Rapids.
 She was born October 16, 1887 in Miriam.

Surviving are her husband, Clinton of Saranac; two sons, Harold Hayes of Royal
Oak, and John of Kelso, Wash.; a daughter, Mrs. Alfred (Cleo) Chickering of
Belding; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Elmer Heether of Belding, and a sister,
Mrs. Edith Myers of Saranac.

Service will be Saturday at Morris funeral home at 1 p.m. with burial at Saranac
cemetery.  The Rev. Howard E. Bull will officiate.
