MARTHA ELAINE HAYES
Martha Elaine (Green) Hayes, 64, of Muir, passed away Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015, in
Lansing. 

She was born the daughter of Miles Delbert and Ilda Wanita (McClish) Green on March
25, 1951.

Martha married Carlton Franklin Hayes, Sr. on Dec. 30, 1972, and he precedes her in
death. She was a beautiful, kind and generous person who treated everyone like they were
her family.

Martha is survived by her children, Elaine (Chris) Shattuck of Palo, Ammy (Jeffery)
Cooper of Muir, Cloressa Hayes of Lansing, Matthew Hayes of Muir, and Lila King of Phoenix,
AZ. She is also survived by many dearly loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren,
step children, brothers and sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carlton; sister, Laquita Lake;
and brother, Miles Green.

Memorial services will be Wednesday, Jan 6, 2016, from 5-9 p.m. at the Lions Club in
Muir, located at 228 Superior St.. Arrangements by lake Funeral Home in Muir. Online
