                           NONA JEAN HAYES

Nona Jean Hayes, 75, of Lake Odessa, assed away June 6, 2010. She was born 
Aug.5,1934, in Britain,S.D., the daughter of Steve and Esther (Baker) Hardina. 
Nona married Robert HayesJune 21, 1955, at Custor St.Park in South Dakota.

She was a member of Ionia Church of the Nazarene. Nona worked at Ionia Hospital 
for several years.

Nona is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Hayes of Lake Odessa; 
children Lance (Jennifer) Hayes of Ionia, Lori Possehn of Lake Odessa, and Lisa 
Richter of Texas; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; brother Bob 
(Marlene) Hardina of South Dakota; sister-in-law Vione Schwab of Jenison; and 
many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Ashley Dygert Cielencki, her 
brother Jack Hardina and son-in-law Ron Possehn.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Ionia Church of the Nazarene, 
with Pastor Kirk Starkweather officiating.Interment Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 
p.m. at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia.
