The Ionia Standard, Friday, April 18, 1909


Mary Hayes, aged 6 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Hayes, died Friday, 
April 9, after a brief but painful illness with peritonitis.  The funeral 
services were conducted by Rev. Charles Baughman at the M. E. church Sunday at 
2:00 p.m.  Mr. and Mrs. Sykes, of Muir, Mr. Wright and family, of Bloomer, and 
Mr. and Mrs. A. Bender, of near Fowler, were here to attend the funeral.
