The Hastings Banner, Thursday, August 1, 1918

Frank K. Haynes was born at Lake Odessa, Aug. 19, 1892, and died at the home 
of his mother in Hastings July 26, 1918, at the age of 25 years, 11 months and 
15 days.  He was married to Jeanete M. Holcomb Oct. 19, 1916, by Rev. R. J. 
Chapman.  One child, Agnes May, was born to this union Aug. 31, 1917.  His 
earlier life was spent in Nashville, Michigan, and since his marriage he has 
lived in Ionia.  He was a loving husband and father.  He leaves to mourn their 
loss a wife and little daughter, a mother, 6 brothers, 3 sisters and a host of 
friends and relatives.
