Private funeral services for Mrs. H. A. Haynes, 57, formerly of Ionia were 
held at her home in Ann Arbor, Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock.  She was a 
resident of Ionia about 30 years ago when her husband, Dr. H. A. Haynes was 
physician at the state hospital.  They later moved to Lapeer where Dr. Haynes 
was superintendent at the Lapeer institution and moved to Ann Arbor in 1911.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. H. A. Haynes; a son, Dr. H. A. Haynes, 
Jr., of Ann Arbor; two sisters, Mrs. C. E. Hathaway, of Ionia, and Mrs. C. B. 
Shaw, of Boston; a brother J. B. Harvey, of Grand Rapids, and her mother, Mrs. 
C. H. Harvey, of Ionia.
