Haynor, 85, died Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock at the Ionia Community hospital following a brief illness. She was born November 20, 1855 in Prussia, Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Neumann. She came to America when was 17 years old with her Uncle Gustavus Neumann. In 1874 she married John Miske and in 1895 she was married to Isaac B. Haynor. Mr. and Mrs. Haynor made their home in Easton Township until his death in about 1900. Mrs. Haynor then moved to the City and later to Remus and in 1918 she moved to Ionia where she bought the home on north Jefferson Street where she had since lived. She was a member of the St. John’s Lutheran church and funeral services will be held from the church Thursday at 2:30 pm following prayer services at the home at 2 pm. Rev. Robert A. Rook will officiate and interment will be at Highland Park cemetery. Surviving are: two daughters, Mrs. Martha A. Root of North Jefferson Street and Miss Louise E. Miske, of Troy, New York; and one granddaughter Mrs. L. J. Tafel of Detroit.
