Frank Haysmer, formerly a well known barber of this city and a brother of
George, Ollie, and Harvey Haysmer, passed away at his home in North Greenville
Sunday night, after an illness of only a few hours.  Mr. Haysmer arose Sunday
morning feeling very well for him and so informed his wife.  About two o’clock
he took a bath and shortly after remarked to his wife that he thought he would
lie down and rest a short time.  He had lain down but a few moments when he was
taken with violent convulsions which continued at intervals until about ten
o’clock, when he suddenly passed away with scarcely a struggle.
Frank was the first one of a family of eight, all of them grown to maturity, to
break the family circle by answering the summons of the grim monster, and leaves
besides his parents, brothers and sisters, beloved wife and little child to
mourn his loss.
