Funeral services were held at Cadillac Friday morning, August 5 at 10 o’clock before removing the body to Ionia where services will be held from the Myers funeral home on East Main St., Saturday afternoon, August 6 at 2 o’clock. Interment will be in the family lot at Woodard lake cemetery. Rev. George Woolcock will officiate. Mr. Haysmer moved to a farm near Cadillac from Ionia County 40 years ago and had lived in Cadillac for the past 30 years. Mrs. Haysmer died 14 years ago. Survivors are six children, Alden Haysmer and Irvin Haysmer of Wisconsin, Mrs. Lee Brown of Lansing, Louis Haysmer and Mrs. Reuben Soderquist of Cadillac and Robert Haysmer of Chicago. Jay E. Haysmer of 445 State St., Ionia, is a nephew. --------------- Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, August 6,at 2 o’clock for Henry Haysmer, 69, who died at his home in Cadillac August 4, at the Myers funeral home on East Main St. The Rev. George Woolcock, pastor of the Ionia Baptist Church officiated. Interment was in the family lot in Woodard Lake Cemetery. Pallbearers were Alden Haysmer of Wisconsin, Irwin Haysmer of Wisconsin, Leo Brown of Lansing and Lewis Haysmer of Cadillac.
