E. Haysmer to Be Buried Here The funeral service for William E. Haysmer, 84, who died at his home in Lowell Wednesday following a year’s illness of cancer, will be held from the home Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock and the body will be brought to Ionia for interment in the Highland Park cemetery. Mr. Haysmer was a native of England, but came to this country with his parents when a child of eight. He was reared in the township of Easton and lived there until 31 years ago, when he moved to Ionia. Following his residence in this city he went to Grand Rapids to live and later located in Lowell. He enlisted during the Civil war and served with the army for three years and was mustered out at its close. Surviving him are the widow and five children, nine grandchildren and nine greatgrandchildren. The children are Nelson Haysmer, of Easton; Harvey Haysmer, of Lowell; Mrs. Edward Rose, of Grand Rapids; Ollie Haysmer, of Grand Ledge, and Mrs. George Taylor of Holland.
