Lake Odessa Times, 10 Aug 1905

Wm. A. Hazen, an old respected citizen of Clarksville died Friday evening 
August 7 after an illness of five months. 

The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War and the funeral was conducted from 
the Congregational church under the auspices of the G.A.R. Post, the remains 
being borne to their last resting place by comrades.

Mr. Hazen was sixty-six years old leaves a wife and family to mourn the loss of 
a faithful companion and loving father.
