Lake Odessa Wave - December 15, 1955
          ALICE HAZZARD DIED THURSDAY
   Mrs. Alice C. Hazzard, aged 86, a former resident of Lake Odessa, died at her
home in Orlando, Florida, on 
Thursday after an illness of several months.  Mrs. Hazzzard moved to Florida six
year ago.  She was a member 
of the Congregational Church in Lake Odessa.
   Survivors include a daughter-in-law Mrs. George York, Orlando; a sister-in-law,
Mrs. Ernest York, Lake 
Odessa; two step daughters, Mrs. Ruby Larson, Wayland and Mrs. Dorothy Beaker,
Benton Harbor, Michigan 
also several nieces in Michigan.
   Services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 p.m., at Pickens Funeral Chapel. 
Rev. A. J. Pitman will officiate. 
Burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
