After a few days’ sickness he was called from loving friends on February 20, 1917. His parents, one brother, Lloyd, grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Guye, Mr. Headworth’s aunts and uncles and many friends remain to mourn for a loved one taken from the home. Jesus blessed little children and said: “Of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Oh! That blessed promise, To every mourning one, Fell from the life of Jesus Who bids you now to come. He was all you could have wished him, With his gladsome winning ways, And you fondly hoped to keep him, But with you he could not stay. God has taken back his treasure, Sent you here but five short years, You in desolation leaving, Blinding now your eyes with tears. Ah! But you’ve not lost your darling, He’s but passed away from earth. To be yours again in heaven, When you reach the higher birth. CARD OF THANKS: We wish to thank the neighbors and friends for their kindness during the sickness and death of our little son; also for the beautiful flowers.
