Lowell Ledger, 30 Nov 1905

Died at the residence of her son, T. J. Headworth, November 16, 1905, Mrs. Sarah
Headworth, aged 93 years, seven months, 19 days.  Deceased has been a resident
of Boston township over 50 years.  Coming here in the early pioneer days, she
endured all the hardships and privations incident to that period of our
country’s history.  She is the mother of seven children, five of whom, with
twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and one great-great
grandchild survive her.  Of a helpful, cheerful disposition, always ready to do
a kindness, “Grandma” Headworth will be greatly missed by a large circle of
friends and relatives. – (Saranac Local)
