Ionia Sentinel Standard, Sep 2009

Jane Ann Hearld, age 65, of Hubbardston, passed away Thursday, Sept. 24, 2009 at
Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.  Jane was born May 15, 1944 in Ionia the
daughter of Leon and Harriet (Clark) Lowry.  She was a graduate of Ionia High
school and was married to Robert Hearld on Nov. 30, 1963.  Together she and her
husband raised three children.  She then began working for Amway Corp. in Ada
and later worked for Goodwill in Ionia.  Jane was a member of St. John the
Baptist Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for many years and was
active in the community helping people in need.

She is survived by her husband Robert; three sons, Kevin (Melissa) Herald of
Hubbardston, Chris Hearld of Hubbardston and Larry Hearld of Birmingham, Ala.;
five grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Natalie, Colt and Isaac and a brother, Wayne
Lowery of Ionia.  Jane was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, David
Lowery.

Funeral services for Jane will be held Saturday, Sept. 26 at 11 a.m. at St. John
the Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston with Fr. Charlon Mason officiating. 
Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.  Visitation will be held
Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Lux and Schnepp Funeral Home, Carson City with a
rosary service to be held Friday evening at 7:30 p.m.  Memorial contributions
may be made to the charity of your choice.
