Robert B. Hearld, Sr., 58, of 5641 Coral Street, rural route Hubbardston, died
Saturday, January 28 of a heart attack while removing snow.  He was born July
19, 1919, the son of Tom and Ada Nolan Hearld.  He was born in Hubbardston, and
went to St. Johns Baptist Catholic Church in Hubbardston.

He married Isabell Osborne May 3, 1941, at the Church of the Resurrection in
Lansing.  He was employed at Michigan Reformatory for 26 years as an inspector.
 He was a member of St. Johns Baptist Church of Hubbardston, and American Legion
Walker T. Roach Post 182 of Hubbardston.  A daughter, Mary Ellen, preceded him
in death in July, 1967.  Surviving are his wife, Isabell; one daughter, Mrs.
Edward (Linda) Heckman of rural Hubbardston, son, Robert Hearld Jr.; two
brothers, Lewis Hearld of Hubbardston, Frederick Hearld of Muir; six grandchildren.

Services will be Wednesday, February 1, 11 am, at St. John Baptist Catholic
Church in Hubbardston.  Rev. H.R. Fox will officiate, with burial in the church
cemetery.  Rosary will be Monday and Tuesday at 8 pm at Estep Funeral Home in
Muir.
