Robert D. Hearld, 70, of Hubbardston, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012 at 
Sparrow Hospital in Lansing.

Bob was born December 9, 1941 in Lansing the son of Robert and Isabell (Osborn) 
Hearld. He married Jane Lowry on Nov. 30, 1963. He worked for Brown Corp. in 
Ionia for 28 years and later retired from the Capital City Airport. Bob was a 
member of the Eagles in the Greenville/Belding area and St. John the Baptist 
Catholic Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and 
camping. He loved time spent working in the shop and his long time pet Brandy.

He is survived by three sons, Kevin Hearld of Hubbardston, Chris Hearld of 
Hubbardston, Larry (Ria) Hearld of Birmingham, Alabama, grandchildren Ryan, 
Eric, Natalie, Colt, Isaac, Ben and Alex and special daughter-in-law Melissa 
Andrews-Hearld. 

Bob was preceded in death by  his parents, wife Jane in 2009, and sisters Mary 
Ellen Hearld and Linda Heckman.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. 
John the Baptist Catholic Church, Hubbardston. Interment will be in St. John 
the Baptist Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 
p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:30 p.m. To view Bob's obituary or to leave a
